Spooky Halloween Pizza Skulls 🍕💀🎃

Ingredients:

– 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
– 1/2 cup pizza sauce
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or turkey pepperoni)
– 1/4 cup black olives, halved (for eyes)
– 1/2 cup cooked ground beef or sausage (optional for filling)
– Nonstick spray

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a skull-shaped silicone mold or muffin tin with nonstick spray.
2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into pieces large enough to fill each skull mold. Press the dough into each mold, making sure to cover the sides and leave some overhang.
3. Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce into the bottom of each dough-filled mold.
4. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and any additional fillings like ground beef or sausage.
5. Cover the filling with more mozzarella cheese and fold the excess dough over the top to seal.
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
7. Carefully remove the pizza skulls from the mold and place on a serving plate.
8. Use black olive halves to create “eyes” in the skull, and add a few pepperoni slices on top for decoration.
